- Venues: that an offer was redeemed, when, and your name or member ID if needed to confirm it, to provide your drink and prevent misuse.
- [Hosting provider] and [email provider]: the information we store and the emails we send, to run the Service and send emails.
- Authorities and advisers: information required by law, or needed to protect rights and safety.
- A buyer or successor: information held at the time of a merger, sale or reorganization, under this policy.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising. The app does not contain third-party advertising or analytics tracking tools.
Our service providers may only use your information to provide services to us. Your information is stored and processed in the United States.
5. How long we keep it

- Payment and transaction records: up to [7] years, to meet tax and accounting rules.
- Redemption and fraud-prevention logs: up to [2] years.
- Data we must keep longer for legal reasons, or to resolve a dispute, is kept only for as long as that requires.
6. Security
We protect your information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls and token-based sign-in. Card data is handled by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS certified. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password. We will notify you of a data breach where the law requires.
7. Your choices
- Profile: view and update your details in the app.
- Location and camera: you can turn these permissions on or off at any time in your phone's settings. Some features, like nearby breweries and QR redemption, will not work without them.

- Delete your account: email info@beerpassapp.com or use the delete option in the app if one is available. Cancel your membership first.
8. Your US state privacy rights
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon or another state with a consumer privacy law, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, and get a copy of it;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising (we do neither);
- limit our use of sensitive personal information. We use your precise location only to provide the Service.
- not be treated differently for using these rights.
To make a request, email info@beerpassapp.com with the subject "Privacy Request". We will verify your identity using your account email and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and we will answer within the time the law sets.
California "Shine the Light": we do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: we do not sell or share personal information, so these signals do not change how we handle your data. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out request where the law requires.
9. Age limits (18+)
The Service is only for people aged 18 and older. Redeeming alcoholic offers requires age 21 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, including children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it and close the account. If you think a minor has given us information, contact info@beerpassapp.com.
